working and very much a space saver

I bought this since my laptop only has two usb ports and an hdmi, so that I can still access my external drive without having to look for a connector for the power supply to the tablet.

Hello, if you mean to connect it with Redmi and our display, it doesnot work as your Redmi doesnot USB3.1, DP1.2 port. If you mean use this cable for phone charging, I think it is working, thanks.

Hello, Redmi does not support USB3.1, DP1.2 port, it cannot work with display connection. The Type C cable is special one for our display, not normal type C cable can work with, thanks.
